CSS/XHTML Web Development: Scott Marlow
Problem: Kathy Southard’s old website was built with a WYSIWYG-HTML editor. Simple copy edits required extensive Photoshop work of multiple images.
Goal: To design a new standards-based website that reduced web maintenance time and costs, and that more accurately reflected YPS’ current product lines.
Solution: Working with a design by Tiffany James, I developed a 100% CSS site to streamline site maintenance. The new site uses 4 background images and 9 vendor images (compared to the old site, which used 131 images!).
