Cushy CMS to WordPress Conversion

screenshot Twist Yoga

My latest WordPress convert is a former Cushy CMS client. Jennifer Mitchell wanted a website that she could edit herself. Although Cushy CMS makes it easy to edit existing site content – it’s not a robust Content Management System like WordPress.

Now, Jennifer can add posts about her upcoming teacher training, retreats and other yoga events.

Unravel your unwieldy static HTML site or CMS – treat yourself to WordPress.

Just in time for 2013 New Year’s resolutions: a new 4,400 sq. ft. West Seattle CrossFit gym. Hang on to your kettle balls – you’re about to lose that holiday poundage!

Scott was fantastic. His stellar communication, from site concept to content management training helped us launch a site that we are not only thrilled with but also understand how to use. He kept our team on task and worked within our budget. We look forward to working with him in the future as our business and online needs grow. An easy recommendation for any small business who wants to take their online presence to the next level!

Sometimes building websites can also build community. Like building a home, developing a website requires a plan and the right tools. For Imagine Housing’s new website, the right tool was WordPress. Why? Because WordPress is built within the open source community. Continue reading “Building WordPress Websites.”

My latest WordPress website for Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County.

This new HTML5 website replaces a slow-loading, template-based site that staff had trouble updating. The new WordPress site includes a built-in e-commerce section for donations, a consistent look for club chapters, and an online event manager – as well as improved on-page search optimization and better accessibility.
